I remember thinking that being eighty wouldn’t be any different from being seventy-nine, but I may have been wrong. A Professional Photographer’s “Images of Nature”

I met Linda Rosland several years ago when she was taking photos of the mute swans in our area. We have kept in touch ever since. She is a retired nurse and an excellent nature photographer. She travels to various parks and other areas to take photos of birds and animals of all kinds. I have admired her beautiful photos for years, and I’ve learned some helpful tips on photography.

The Tyranny of the “Shoulds”

As I wash the breakfast dishes, my mind is racing. I need to vacuum and dust before someone starts writing words on the end tables. I need to find those clippers before the next horse show. And I need to fix a bridle and clean a saddle. I need to send a card to a sick friend. Do a load of laundry. Refill the bird feeder. And repot that big plant.
