Motif and Doc’s Amazin’ Grace – AKA Maizie

After we lost Ribbons in April of 2019, I contacted three Boston terrier breeders we know. Well, after two precious Bostons, we’re hooked. Just gotta have another one. We wanted a retired female about three years old or more, and we favored certain bloodlines. Lots of pups were available, but only one older female. Her name was Maizie and she is now almost two and a half years old.

I recently learned of a cousin’s death, and I decided to look for her obituary online. Legacy.com is an online media group that works with 1500+ newspapers and hosts 20 million+ obituaries (according to the information I found).

The Love of Bostons Part Two – Ribbons, The Sensitive One

Ribbons (Motif’s She Wore a Yellow Ribbon) was three years old when we brought her home, and her sensitive personality was completely opposite of Lil’s demanding playfulness. Both dogs played a large part in my emotional support after the loss of a son. You can read more in my memoir, Beyond the Visible Edge.

For the Love of Bostons: A Three Part Story!

This is a story of three Boston terriers and how each one came to live with my husband and me. I wrote about the first two in my memoir, Beyond the Visible Edge, sharing how each one helped me deal with the loss of a son. The next chapter is beginning soon, as we prepare to welcome our third Boston terrier.
